What a Great turn out for the Classic Carts at Anderson Motor Speedway!
Our unit was out in force looking like we were there to steal the show and we did just that with every thing from burn outs to 360 degree spin outs. Our unit is growing and the members are being active! The Classic Carts are setting the standard in shrine units with our Class and our Participation and we are growing as a Masonic and Shrine family. I would also like to Thank all our members and there families for helping to make us what we should be and for supporting us in the greatest ways! Thank You!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A Classic Welcome in Tiger Town

Today we we proud to be in the Clemson Downs 4th of July parade! The Classic Carts had a great time showing off for the community at Clemson Downs in Classic style. The crowd was great showing there approval with gleeful smiles and cheerful waves of encouragement as we cruised there quiet little piece of the earth. The enthusiasm shown by this group of seniors and their families was overwhelming and touched our hearts very deep. The Classic Carts know that one day hopefully we will be as enthusiastic and energetic and encouraging as the group at Clemson Downs and hope to be invited year after year to participate in this heart warming event. The only thing that was more exciting than the crowd was Noble Jimmy Evans and his new found love for the Clemson Tiger be sure to tell brother Jimmy you saw his picture with his new best pal.

2009 Classic Crew in Duncan

The 2009 spring ceremonial was a blast we had tons of fun! The boys in blue held down the pack for the Classic Carts as we cruised through the big metropolis of Duncan SC. The Classic Carts Truck was Packed out with Capt. Bobby Beasley along with members Greg Shirley and Matt Turner as they fallowed Thomas Land and myself Daniel Robertson in our carts as we worked on putting on a show and showing off our go carts. the parade was allot of fun spending time with our Brothers minus brother Barry Sammons who was busy handling last minute details for his daughter Amber's wedding that same day.Brother Kevin Fullbright was also with us before the parade but due to go cart problems was not able to participate. We love any opportunity to get together and have fun helping kids in a classic way. A big thank you to all my Brothers who give so much of themselves to make our unit what it is!!!!

____ Ok Brothers summer time is here and there have been several request for tee shirts. I put this one together and hope everyone likes it. The shirt has a very classic design and I think I have found the best place and price to have them done at.
Up to extra large is $8.00 xxl is $9.00 xxxl is $9.50 and xxxxl is $10.00.
The shirt brand is Gildan, these are nice shirts and well worth the cost. We are also doing a shirt for the ladies it will be the same design on a pink shirt. these shirts can also be ordered in kids sizes for our little ones.

What a Blast!!! It is so great to see that we had 10 members present and several non members. A special thanks to our pit crew Brother Brandon who helped us out allot. We are having great turnouts and are moving forward in a Classic way. Remember Brothers we are representing the Shrine and Masonry in our community to promote our great cause and our unit is very busy this time of year, but keep in mind this unit is a year round commitment. Well guys its the time of year we all look forward to! We have been working hard on our carts and are still getting things together for the parades. Dont forget our unit takes more than just showing up for a parade to make us a success Classic Carts is a year round commitment! Be Active in a Classic Way!

Man what a day it rained on us, it was hot, and we didnt have great numbers on the score card "well at least I didnt" but what we did have was a ton of fun. Anderson Spring Ceremony

Well brothers the spring ceremony was great we had a blast. The kozie sales went great and the whole unit did awesome. We worked together like a well oiled machine and made it happen. That's the great thing about our unit we all love to participate.
Lets keep pushing forward in classic style.

We have some exciting news we have two new applications for membership. These two guys are very dedicated blue lodge members and are starting to move through the Shrine. This is what our unit is all about not who can have the most members but that all our members participate and are active in there lodge, there Shrine, there Unit, and most important there families and friends. We pride our unit on family, Friends, and participation. Because with out our families beside us we would not be successful. that being said the two applications we will be voting on at our next meeting are Big Jimmy Evans and Little Jason Knight. We cant wait to see you guys in classic action as new members of Hejaz Classic Carts

What a great time we are having this year. The Classic Carts are very active and we are having loads of fun. We really wanted to share this Classic picture with you. We are a fun loving group of guys who love what we do, and are excited to be able to help children while we have a blast. We would like to also thank our wives and families who stand beside us, and our little Classic Cartigans who are always around to keep us smiling. A big thank you to all our supporters who motivate us to keep doing what we love so much.

WOW! Have I been slack, so much has happened and I have not posted. The Classic Crew had a blast at Pigeon Forge fall ceremonies, between the go carts and doughnuts (at midnight) what can I say we are in to refined activities and watching our figures.
the only hard thing about this trip was all of us missing our little classic cartigans!
We are now in 2008 mode and are looking into new fund raising ideas. We have several being looked in to and cant wait to get started.
We are also going to try to have at least one classic cart rep at each circus because we pride our unit on participation.
Classic Carts would also like to take time to thank the Membership Committee for thier recognition for our articles we place in the commentator. We believe in our Shrine and the biggest factor in our success and the success of the Hejaz Temple and all the other temples is getting nobles to be active. Be active don't just be a member!

Well Brothers,its been a great year.Parade season has come and gone.We need all the information on function participation to turn in to the Temple for points.At the next business meeting we have Bylaw changes we need to vote on.We are also in the process of adding new members.Gather all your information and ideas for the coming year.Also be thinking of who the officer candidates will be.Again ths SASA snd fall ceremony in Pigeon Forge,as well as all the parades was a blast.Dinner Saturday night was excellent.Thanks Vicki and Daniel.The little "Cartigans" had a good time.

Sunday lunch

On Sunday Oct. 21st Our unit had a family lunch at Hejaz Temple.
It was great weather for us as we enjoyed the fun and fellowship.
The kids had a blast playing in the sand, kicking the balls around, and after lunch they painted pumpkins for Halloween. This just goes to show we take our unit to heart because without our families support and participation our unit would not be what it is today!

Fall ceremonial will be taking place in Pigeon Forgen, Tennesee this year on Oct 26 & 27. The majority of our unit - Daniel, Barry, Bobby- will be attending. Unfortunately, due to local regulations, there will be no parade to display our unit. We still look forward to the fun for all of us and the new candidates.
We are in the process of gearing up for some great fundraisers. Check back later for more details.
